It is impossible to translate the costs of your advertisements on Facebook one-to-one into advertising space. It is not the case that most advertising space goes to the highest bidder. Which factors determine your visibility? 

• Your bid. The higher your bid, the more likely your target group will see your message.
• The quality/relevance of your advertisement.
• The expected action rate. Read: the chance that someone will like, share, comment, ...
• The competition within your target group.
• The time of year: advertising during the busy end-of-year period costs more on average

Apart from all logarithms: a campaign/ad will never cost more than you set. You always remain in control.

Fact: from January 1, things will calm down a lot on the Facebook advertising market and that opens up perspectives. Prices, which are determined by the number of available advertising places compared to the number of advertisers and their budgets, are plummeting. If we compare with previous years, we dare to predict that it will again be up to 3 times more lucrative to advertise on Facebook and Instagram.
