Hannibal, what's in a name
"And what has become the new name?"
"Hannibal."
"Cool"
"Thx"
"And why Hannibal?"
Well, of course you can say: that name was just there. But that doesn't work, not for everyone. Yet there are no great stories behind many company names. They just do what they have to do. A good company name usually matches your company image or story, is not too difficult and is preferably somewhat surprising and distinctive. In short, a company name that sticks. I think the name Hannibal meets those criteria. That's already one reason. The second reads as follows. We deliberately chose a personal name. That is also the least in conflict with who we are. Staff and managers are always directly approachable here, there is little noise on the line. You can therefore literally address ourselves and our company by our first name. But of course it didn't become 'Jan' either. We wanted a name with balls, with a bit of history and a name that everyone could relate to. And that, in short, is why we changed our name to Hannibal.
