Koda.

Branding Strategy

Sometimes a rebranding starts with one simple observation: your name doesn't say who you are. Or worse, it causes confusion. The Kinder Kansen Fonds (Children's Opportunity Fund) was often confused with the Kinderkankerfonds (Children's Cancer Fund). So their rebranding started with a new name: Koda. A name to hold close.

Back to the essence

Together with the organization, we went back to what it does every day: Kinderen Ondersteunen Doorheen Armoede, or supporting children through poverty. KODA for short. That name is clearer and sounds warmer.

A face for KODA

The new name also got a mascot: a soft little bear, something children hold close. Now it literally gives the organization a face, too.
